Christingle was established by the Moravian Church in 1747 as a symbol of Christ’s light and love. Today Christingle services are celebrated by churches up and down the country.

Our family Christingle service takes place on Christmas Eve at 3.30 p.m. All are welcome, especially children.

Columbans and friends from other Edinburgh churches braved the cold for a morning of carol singing at the Farmers’ Market on Castle Terrace on Saturday morning, raising money for Christian Aid.

Christian Aid aims to stand with the world’s poorest people to bring poverty and injustice to an end – regardless of faith or ethnicity. Check out their website at www.christianaid.org.uk

Flowers at TLC Service

Thank you to everyone who made our TLC (The Local Church) joint service last Sunday such a success.

The church was packed, the sermon - preached by Revd Richard Frazer from Greyfriars Kirk - was inspiring, the music was uplifting, the flowers stunning and Peggy’s cake delicious!
